How to prepare your home for professional real estate photography

Preparing the property before a real estate photography session ensures the listing looks clean, bright, and appealing to buyers online. Following this guide will help us capture the best possible images and videos for your listing.

General Preparation

Remove personal items such as family photos and paperwork

Declutter surfaces including benches and tables

Turn on all interior lights

Open curtains and blinds to maximise natural light

Hide cables, remotes, and unnecessary electronics

Exterior

Move vehicles from the driveway and street

Mow lawns and tidy gardens

Remove bins and garden tools

Sweep driveways and paths

Ensure the front entrance looks welcoming

Living Areas

Arrange cushions neatly
